It's almost here. A very special holiday that inspired many new things for me artistically and otherwise. Here's hoping it inspires goodness in people everywhere! Happy Easter to you and yours.

Happy Valentine's Day Teacher!
Last Thursday "crafternoon" I was inspired while browsing the Valentine section of Target. I never know what to do for teachers on holidays. I always feel like they deserve a little something for giving me coveted quiet time while they deal with the drama and craziness. I saw school themed boxes of chocolate meant for teachers & they reminded me of the cute school bus boxes I had purchased from Paper Glitter. So my miniature girl chose strawberry swirl dove chocolates for her teacher and we went home and crafted a very fun & original Valentine!

Thursday "Crafternoon!"
Thursday is my busiest day of the week, which usually means setting up a craft for my 4 year old so that I can get my own projects done. I like easy & inexpensive crafts, so I was delighted to find this adorable wooden butterfly at my local dollar tree. I set out a spring palette of washable crayola paints, some brushes and a water cup... all she had to do is paint her little heart out! It came with a ribbon already attached so that my sweetheart can hang it on her bedroom door handle once it is dry, though it may get glittered and bejeweled first. Perhaps next Thursday :)
